Child Foster Care Program

We’re currently seeking families in Mid and Northwestern Michigan who are interested in providing foster care for these young people, especially for families who can provide a supportive home for older children.

40+ Years

Since 1981, we have been licensed by the State of Michigan as a child placement agency.

Ages 10 - 17

The Child Foster Care program provides temporary, emergency, and long-term care for children ages 10 to 17.

24/7 Training & Support

Our foster care professionals will be with you every step of the way, providing training and support 24/7.

Making a Difference at Home

Since 1981, we have been officially licensed by the State of Michigan as a child placement agency. Our Child Foster Care program offers temporary, emergency, and long-term care for children aged 10 to 17, though we are authorized to assist from birth up to 17 years old. We accept referrals from Community Mental Health Boards, the Department of Human Services, Family or Trial Courts, and Listening Ear’s Runaway & Homeless Youth Program. Fees are assessed on an individual case basis.

We Need Your Support

We are actively looking for families in Mid and Northwestern Michigan who are interested in fostering these young individuals, particularly those who can offer a nurturing environment for older children. These children may face developmental, physical, medical, emotional, or behavioral challenges, along with family-related issues. Rest assured, our Foster Care Professionals will support you throughout the entire process, providing guidance, training, and 24/7 assistance.
