Our 2022 annual report shows the ways thousands benefit from Listening Ear services. Last year, we impacted 42,722 children and adults from 46 Michigan counties, each provided a variety of services by 222 caring employees.

Here’s a snapshot of our 2022 accomplishments as an agency:

• 42,722 people from 23 counties were helped through the 24/7 Crisis Line/2-1-1.
• 115 Homeless Youth, ages 12-21, were served.
• 102 persons with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness were provided residential support in 5 counties.
• 355 persons were provided agency-owned, safe, affordable rental housing.
• 30 children from 27 counties were provided loving foster care by 12 foster care families.
• 17 children ages 3-17 that were sexually-abused received treatment.
• 3,375 Dreams Realized.
• Client Satisfaction 2022:
  • Residential Consumers – 90%
  • Child Sex Abuse – 100%
  • Homeless Youth – 100%
  • Foster Youth – 100%
  • Crisis Line – 98%

None of this would be possible without the financial assistance generously given by our community funders and without the support of United Way and the guidance from the Council on Accreditation. We are forever grateful and will be planning big things for the year of 2023.
