Dora came into care after a total breakdown in her relationship with her mother. Her mother signed the consents for her to be in our care and refused to participate in anything that had to do with her daughter, including keeping in contact. The Runaway & Homeless Youth Program staff helped her get services, arranged for counseling, set up appointments with the Health Department, and made sure she got a bus pass to get to and from work.
